I took several months off from this site to collect myself. To be honest, I just had lost the motivation that I had when I first started this venture. After countless hours of thought and reflection, I’ve come to understand that this is my life’s mission and am now fully committed to seeing it succeed.
Lucramotives, as I think I have explained here before, is much more than an attempt at a catchy gimmick: it is a lifestyle, a movement. What exactly does this word mean? To me, it means progress; it means inspiration; it means creativity. Lucramotives is a hybridization of the words “lucrative,” “motives” and “locomotive.” Lucrative is not wholly used in a capitalistic sense, but also in a figurative sense. Whatever you can gain from spiritually, physically, or mentally–that is “lucrative”. And that is what our “motives” consist of: gaining for the betterment of ourselves in the interest of helping others do the same. It plays off of the word “locomotive” because once this idea is set into motion, it is a force that cannot be stopped. My ultimate goal with Lucramotives is to become a beacon of hope unto the world and future generations. I, as well as those whom are proponents of this movement, strive to empower and uplift the broken, hopeless, misguided, “underachievers,” downtrodden, overlooked and unheard members of society.
So in conclusion, I encourage all those who stop by this page to feel free to leave comments on our posts–and please like our Facebook and follow us on Twitter @Lucramotives to keep up with us. We have much more in store as we continue to build and grow. Right now, our primary focus will be on spreading our message and building up our name. Thank you all for your time and visiting our page.
For my next post, I thought I’d share the concept of “Lucramotives” with you all. If this is something you would like to support, you can follow us on Twitter @Lucramotives and/or like our new Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lucramotives-Enterprises/640127329370077
Lucramotives is a new concept and brand that was started by Nolan Unruh. The name itself is a combination of the words “lucrative” and “motives” and a spin off of the word “locomotive”. Lucrative takes on a more dualistic meaning with us. The first meaning is in the literal sense, producing a great deal of profit, and the second is a more abstract take on that same definition. We are in a sense redefining what “profit” means to us. Profit, in our redefined version of it, can be anything that we gain from; be it in a financial, spiritual, educational, physical, mental, etc. manner from the work that we put in to receive them. Our brand is NOT solely focused on lucrative endeavors financially, but also in the aforementioned ways as well. We are about progress, uplifting, educating, and building not only ourselves, but humanity as a whole. The “motives” part is pretty self-explanatory. We have “lucrative” motives for everything that we do and strive to assist others in finding or helping to manifest theirs, too, so they may excel and reach their fullest potential in all aspects of life. The “locomotive” spin off just means that this idea, once put into motion, will be one that can’t be stopped, like a locomotive. Our current goal is to build our name and spread our message to gain more exposure. The purpose of this blog is to give people a first-hand look at what our brand is about, what we stand for and also to get a feel for who we are as well as using it as a platform to express ourselves to the world.
