When you look at those we would consider to be successful, what is one thing you noticed? Aside from the dedication, perseverance, hard work, etc. what was one of, if not the biggest, reasons for many of them to become rich?
Besides those who were born into it, many wealthy people came from the bottom. They know what struggle feels like. The common denominator in many of these millionaires’ stories, as to the reason they wanted to make acquire riches, was they wanted to do it for a cause greater than themselves. One of these causes includes providing for their family. With that kind of driving force, you are ready to take on the world.
So, what is your driving force? It is my belief that as long as your goals are foundated on something for the greater good of someone/something other than yourself, then it will happen. Those people willing to go the extra mile and sacrifice everything for someone/something else will certainly get what they deserve in due time. Why? Because with that much passion and that strong of a desire, they will accomplish that goal or die trying; IF it is for something bigger than themselves.
For many, your 21st birthday was a day full of drunken stupor and good times. For me, it was a day of reflection. A day to reflect and be thankful that I have made it to see the age of 21. Words can’t explain the emotions I felt as I reminisced on the plentiful memories leading up to April 9, 2014. I thought of my loved ones who never got the chance to see the age of 21, some not even 18. When you look back at your life and the trials and tribulations you overcame, the close calls you had, and how far you’ve come . . . it really humbles you. I invite all of you who read this to make a toast. A toast to life and the fact that you are still here, that you have beaten the odds, that you are a survivor, that you have foughten through the struggle and have the ability to continue to do so. As you take your next breath, someone else is taking their last. Be thankful and cherish every second you have on this planet. This journey of life is not an easy one, but it will be what you make it to be.
Wow…very inspiring video. It’s good to see people get together in the spirit of helping someone in need. This is all it takes to get your voice heard. As you’ll hear in the video, these people had already exhausted all other options to get this matter resolved, so they brought the issue to City Hall’s front door in the form of a peaceful, singing protest. This just goes to show you don’t need 100 people to get your voices heard. This was a small group of maybe 10 people who came together to assist the Carter family in their time of need. Stand in solidarity with your fellow man regardless of racial, religious, political, etc. differences. I pray swift justice is served to the Carter family.
Our mothers shouldn’t need a holiday in order to be celebrated. Love and cherish the woman who gave you life every day of every year.
End senseless violence. Too many young and innocent lives are being lost at the hands of misguided individuals and cowards. If anything, take your aggression out on those that really need to be eradicated from society like rapists, child molestors, and all forms of abusers – be they animal, men, women, and/or children.
Before being Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Taoist, Luciferian, Wiccan, Jewish, and so on…be human.
Here’s a very user-friendly tutorial for people like me who have very little to no artistic talent, haha. It’s a pretty good approach and he offers some valuable tips. Graffiti art is one of those things that has always intrigued me. This can also be a good way for some of you talented artists and writers to make a little money on the side. Of course the love and passion for the art should be your main motive for doing it but why not make money off of what you love to do? There are many opportunities out there for street artists. For example, some of you may have seen my post the other day of that street artist in NYC who was selling custom paintings for $10. Using only spray paint and various tools, she made the entire NYC skyline in just under 6 minutes. Maybe you put together some pieces and frame them and start selling. Advertise on craigslist, facebook, instagram, a blog, word of mouth. Or you can look into becoming a tattoo artist. Create a custom font and sell them on the internet on sites like dafont.com. Turning your passion into profit is one of the best things you can do. It will make life that much more fulfilling knowing you are in control and are doing what you love to do. These ideas are just to get you started. Many of you are more than capable of creating your own artistic lane and shocking the world. But if nothing else just enjoy the video. The world of graffiti art is truly fascinating I’d encourage anyone to pick it up as a hobby.
